Welcome to the new website for our Scout Group

This website is brand new and currently has only limited information. We hope
to fill the pages with ongoing news, forthcoming events, pictures of the beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers and leaders living scouting to the MAX!

Keynotes - our regular newsletter - will be uploaded for you to see what we get up to.

A photo archive will also be set up in time

Please check back here at regular intervals for updates!

Who are we?

Our Connah's Quay Scout Group has now been around for 100 Years! Please take time to take a look at our Centenary Page! We have a new badge that we hope to display here very soon!

What do we do?

Maybe that should read "What DON'T we do". We are always busy with colony/pack/troop meetings, regular camps, badge work, visits, archery, turkey bingo, the list is endless. And of course this year we have our Centenary Exhibition, held at the Civic Hall on 18th and 19th April. Click the Centenary Year tab above for more information.

We are also holding a Family Camp in July where family members get to come and experience Scout camp for themselves.

Look out for us on parade in Mold on St Georges Day. We will be the ones in bright green neckers!
Also we have our own parade in Connah's Quay in May! Keep a look out.

When and where do we meet?

We meet at Tuscan Way. The nights that we meet are as follows:

Picture inside a parragraph

  • Beavers: Friday nights - 5pm to 6.15pm
  • Mohawk Cub Scouts - Monday nights - 6.30pm to 8pm
  • Cherokee Cub Scouts - Tuesday nights - 6.30pm to 8pm
  • Scouts: Friday nights - 7pm to 9pm
  • Explorers: Friday nights - 7pm to 9pm and occasional Wednesdays

Parents Committee

We are very fortunate at Connah's Quay to have a fantastic parents committee who run things for us behind the scenes.

They do the accounts, the fundraising, arrange special events and keep everything in order for us!

Thanks to all concerned!
